The Coastal Swap Meet is put on by three local car clubs: VCCC - Vintage Car Club of Canada - Van. Chapter PISRA - Pacific International Street Rod Association These three clubs formed a partnership 42 years ago. What started out as a small gathering of car enthusiasts cleaning out old car parts, has grown into one of the biggest swap meets in Western Canada. We now average over 900 booths selling everything from antique car parts to collectibles and antiques. Our vendors come from Alberta, Sasketchewan, Washington, Vancouver Island, and all over British Columbia. Same can be said for the buyers,,,, just check out the license plates of the cars in the parking lot. It is the hard work of over a hundred volunteers who work many hours all year long organizing this event. If you would like to lend a hand, do not hesitate to contact any of the clubs listed above. It is a great way to stay up on the latest information regarding old cars, and forming friendships with people who enjoy the same hobbies as you do... If you would like to contact us directly, and speak to a member of the committee ... feel free to call our local telephone number - 604-540-6141 Leave a message one of our reps will be more than happy to call you back Note: This year there will be no early vehicle movements on Saturday afternoon. Doors/Gates will open at 4:00 PM to allow all vendors with vehicles to exit the buildings and outside parking stalls. Those wanting to leave early should park their cars/trucks in the vendor parking lot as moving vehicles while the event is still open puts the public at risk. Your co-operation with this policy is most appreciated. " Help make our 42st the best year ever...."
