Who are we ?

The Coastal Swap Meet is put on by four local car clubs:

PISRA – Pacific International Street Rod Association

VCCC – Vintage Car Club of Canada – Vancouver Chapter

Totem Model A & T Ford Club

BCHRA – British Columbia Hot Rod Association

Three clubs formed a partnership 49 years ago. What started out as a small gathering of car enthusiasts cleaning out old car parts, has grown into one of the biggest swap meets in Western Canada. The Coastal Swap Meet Society was incorporated in 2006. In 2014, representatives of the BCHRA joined the Coastal Swap Meet Society to make it four host clubs.

We now average over 900 booths selling everything from antique car parts to collectibles and antiques. Our vendors come from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Washington, Vancouver Island, and all over British Columbia. Same can be said for the buyers,,,, just check out the license plates of the cars in the parking lot.

The success of this event is due to the hard work of over a hundred volunteers from the four member clubs who work many hours all year long organizing this event. If you would like to lend a hand, do not hesitate to contact any of the clubs listed above.

It is a great way to stay up on the latest information regarding old cars, and to form friendships with people who enjoy the same hobbies as you do.
